Waggaman is a small, tight-knit unincorporated community in western Jefferson Parish along Highway 90. The housing stock here is modest and predominantly mid-century construction, with single-family homes occupied by long-term residents who have deep roots in the community. Many of the bathrooms in these homes have never undergone a full renovation and retain original tile work and plumbing from their construction era.
