Many of these homes feature closed kitchen layouts typical of their construction era, and a significant number have been renovated at least once since their original build — which means remodelers sometimes encounter layered plumbing, mixed electrical systems, or prior work of varying quality. We assess all of this upfront so there are no surprises during construction.
