QCG Services Delivers Exceptional Results to Client’s Home Renovation Project
At QCG Services, we take pride in our ability to deliver exceptional results to our clients. Recently, we had the pleasure of working with a client who had previously experienced problems with a contractor that had performed incorrect work. After they contacted us, we visited the property and identified several issues that needed to be addressed. We were able to provide the client with a solution that met their needs and ensured that their home was structurally sound.
One of the major issues we identified was an exterior wall that had been framed incorrectly. This posed a significant risk for structural issues, and we had to re-frame the entire side wall to ensure that it was compliant with code and structurally sound. We also identified that the entire subfloor throughout the home was unleveled and needed to be properly leveled, which we addressed to ensure the safety of the home’s occupants.
After addressing these issues, we began work on the client’s 2700+ sqft addition, which would include a garage and living space. We worked with the client to design the space to meet their needs and ensure that it was functional and aesthetically pleasing. We are currently in the process of adding a new porch that will be bigger and have higher ceilings than the previous porch. We are also removing a side porch to build a new wine cellar that will hold 3000 bottles of wine. When constructing the wine cellar, we are paying close attention to detail to ensure that it can sustain the weight of the wine. Extra support joists and piers are being added underneath the floor to ensure that it is structurally sound.
When the project is completed, we are confident that it will be an amazing space that showcases the client’s dream home. The home will feature over 20 stained glass windows that the client has collected from around the world. We are excited to be a part of this project and to help the client bring their vision to life.
